Understanding Family Therapy
Families don't fall apart all at once. It usually happens gradually through years of unspoken resentment, patterns nobody named, roles people got locked into before they were old enough to choose them. Family therapy is where those patterns finally get examined. Not to assign blame, but to understand how the system got here, and how it can work differently.
What to Expect in Sessions
Sessions may include some or all family members depending on what's being worked on. My role is to make sure every person in the room feels safe enough to speak honestly, and heard enough to want to. We move at a pace that respects where each person is, while keeping the focus on what the family is trying to build together.
My role is to create a safe and balanced space where everyone’s voice can be heard. Through guided conversations and practical tools, families learn to express feelings more clearly, resolve conflicts more respectfully, and rebuild a sense of connection and trust.
The process takes patience, but many families find that even small changes lead to deeper understanding and lasting closeness.

My Approach
Families are systems, and systems have logic. My job is to help you see the logic in yours, why certain arguments keep happening, why certain people get scapegoated, and why closeness feels dangerous to some members and desperately needed by others. Once a family can see its own patterns clearly, change becomes possible. Not easy, but possible.

Building Stronger Connections
Most families don't come to therapy because they've given up. They come because somewhere underneath all the noise, they still care. That's enough to work with. That's actually everything.
