About Me

I became a therapist the long way around, and I think that matters. I didn't go to university until I was 40, and was a single mom. I earned three degrees over eight years, graduated at the top of my classes, and somewhere in the middle of all of it, I dismantled a myth that I'd carried since childhood: that I wasn't intelligent enough. I know what it's like to do hard things while doubting yourself, and that experience lives within every session I hold.

I've spent more than 21 years working with individuals, couples, and families in my private practice, now in West Vancouver, B.C. I bring the same level of care to every client and I don't believe healing has a postal code. In other words, if you're a Canadian citizen, living in Canada or anywhere else in the world, and you're ready, we can work together.

In addition to psychotherapy, I’m a designated FAMILY ENTERPRISE ADVISOR™ (FEA), supporting business families through the intersection of relationships, governance, and legacy, which is precisely where family dynamics and financial futures are deeply entwined.

I'm a certified member of the Canadian Counselling & Psychotherapy Association. Registration number: 0397.

Beyond the Office

Outside the office, you'll most likely find me on my bike. Road cycling isn't just exercise for me, it's where I think, reset, and remind myself what I'm capable of. I completed a significant Triple Crown cycling route for a milestone birthday last year, and I'm not done yet. I believe deeply that doing hard things on purpose keeps us honest and humble!

I also share my life with my husband and two precious fur-babies who have very different personalities and equal amounts of my heart. And I'm also a grandmother to two little girls, which has taught me things about love and legacy that no degree ever could.

I've lived enough of my own story to know that healing isn't linear, that reinvention is possible at any age, and that the most important thing you can do is to keep showing up for yourself, and for the people who need you.
